Experienced a great deal in the London Street Dance scene there is much on offer from this individual. Not only is his heart and soul in HipHop/Urban dance, Darron Opoku-Abebreseh has also been training classically since the years of 2005. Primarily at the London Studio Centre (Kings Cross) as a performing arts student (BA Hons), he has become a versatile performing artist, putting his passion through singing and acting. Modern Contemporary, Ballet and Jazz have manifested into his choreographic style and bring a slightly technical standard to his classes.
Darron has been blessed to perform on many of UK’s big stages. Recent credits include; ‘Brit Awards 2008’ featured dancer for Leona Lewis (Earls Court , Feb ’08) ‘Into the Hoods’ - a groundbreaking HipHop theatre story lead by Kate Prince (Zoo Nation, Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Aug ‘07) the thought-provoking opera musical ‘Gaddafi-A Living Myth’ (English National Opera, Aug ‘06), and just prior to that, a staged performance (Choreographers Ball, Hammersmith Palais) directed by Jermaine Brown- choreographer to Britney Spears, J-Lo and Christina Aguilera. Not stopping at that Darron has also taken up modelling, representing the likes of Topman, Zara, Republic and Joy to mention a few.
Taking teaching seriously he has taught and covered classes at Pineapple Studios (Covent Garden), Danceworks (Bond Street), Huskies Studios (Elephant&Castle) and also Virgin Active Gym (Merton Abbey).
