Burlesque/Striptease
Jo King has a long career in erotic dance that spans over 25 years. She has performed in private cabarets throughout the West End and danced and choreographed all over the UK, Europe and the United States.
Now Jo King delights in teaching erotic dance. She formed The London School of Striptease - the first erotic dance school in Europe. The school has eight teachers, plus herself, and over 5,000 students.
Her success lies in her passion for both dancing and teaching. She is dedicated to making women feel good about themselves and their bodies. Her classes are there to help women accept themselves despite age, shape or dancing ability. The oldest person she has taught was 76 years young!
Jo’s students come from all backgrounds and take her classes for all sorts of reasons. Some are already professional dancers wanting to inject more sensual moves into their routine; however the majority are women just looking for something a little different.
