Since her first class began over five years ago, teacher Vandana Alimchandani has courted the national media and Sunday broadsheets and she and her teachers have been overwhelmed with offers for charity, corporate and media events.

Bollywood Grooves was the first London based dance company providing Bollywood & Bhangra weekly classes across central London for complete beginners to advanced levels. Berg’s Lambada website was the first of its kind and has held the number one position on the web since 1996. For the last 10 years he has also organised dance holidays to the home of Lambada - Porto Seguro, Brazil - where his students get to experience the dance in its authenticity. In 2005, he held the first international Zouk-Lambada dance congress in Porto Seguro, with people coming from 18 different countries.

Berg is also an experienced DJ and has been one of the main promoters of Latin club nights in London at venues such as Bar Madrid, Havana, Paparazzi, El Metro and many others. He continues to work passionately to keep Lambada’s magic alive and recognised.
